At Curated Objects, every piece is carefully sourced, photographed and described with attention to its age, material and character. Most of our items are vintage, antique or pre-owned, which means gentle signs of age, use, patina and small imperfections may be present. These details are part of what makes each piece unique.
Returns
Orders within the European Union may be returned within 14 days after delivery, unless a statutory exception applies. International orders outside the European Union may be returned within 7 days after delivery, unless agreed otherwise in writing or unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
To request a return, please email us within the applicable return period at: hello@thecuratedobjects.com. Please include your order number, name and the item you would like to return.
Return condition
Returned items must be sent back in the same condition as received. The item must not show any new damage, additional wear, alterations, cleaning damage, repair attempts or other changes caused after delivery. If the item has decreased in value due to handling beyond what is necessary to inspect it, this may be deducted from the refund.
Return shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Please make sure the item is packed safely and returned with suitable transport.
For furniture, fragile objects, lighting, mirrors, glass, stone, marble, travertine or other delicate pieces, we strongly recommend careful and insured return transport.
For returns from outside the European Union, any customs duties, import taxes, export charges, clearance fees, handling fees or other return-related costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will let you know whether the refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days after receiving the returned item.
For orders within the European Union, original standard delivery costs will be refunded where required by law if the full order is returned on time.
For international orders outside the European Union, original shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees and other import-related costs are non-refundable, unless agreed otherwise in writing or required by law.
Damaged or incorrect items
Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery. If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us within 24 hours at: hello@thecuratedobjects.com
Please include your order number, clear photos of the item, photos of the packaging and a short description of the issue. Please keep all original packaging until the issue has been reviewed.
