The CH30 has a beautifully balanced silhouette, with softly curved backrests, organic rear legs and elegant joinery details. The warm teak backrests contrast subtly with the oak frames, while the cream woven upholstery brings a softer, lighter texture to the set. The visible wood grain, rounded edges and refined proportions give the chairs a calm architectural presence without feeling heavy.

Hans J. Wegner presented the CH30 chair in 1954 for Carl Hansen & Søn. The model is known for its curved oval backrest, organic form and characteristic cruciform cover caps, details that reflect Wegner’s lifelong focus on comfort, craftsmanship and refined construction.

Condition
Good vintage condition with signs of age and use consistent with its period. The wooden frames show patina, light scratches, marks and small signs of wear. Two chairs have historical repairs, visible in the backrest / frame area. The cream upholstery presents well with light signs of use. Structurally stable and ready for use.
