Louis van Teeffelen is one of the best-known names in Dutch mid-century furniture design, recognised for his organic wooden forms, refined joinery and elegant proportions. AWA Meubelfabriek produced a range of Dutch design furniture during the mid-century period, often defined by practical construction, warm teak and softly sculpted lines.

Condition
Good vintage condition with signs of age and use consistent with its period. The teak frames show light scratches, small marks, patina and normal surface wear. The seats have been reupholstered in black skai leatherette with new foam, making them ready for everyday use. One chair is missing one of the four brass spacer caps on the back of the backrest, as shown in the photos. Overall structurally solid and well-presented.
