The sofa has a beautifully open and architectural frame, with gently curved armrests that flow into the angled side structure. The warm teak shows a rich natural grain and soft vintage patina, while the original wool upholstery gives the piece a calm, tactile and authentic character. Its compact two-seat proportions make the design feel light and elegant, with a strong visual rhythm between the floating cushions and exposed wooden frame.

Ole Wanscher was one of the leading figures of Danish modern design, known for refined proportions, classical references and beautifully crafted wooden furniture. Condition
Good vintage condition with signs of age and use consistent with its period. The teak frame shows light scratches, small marks, patina and normal wear from age. The original wool upholstery presents well overall, with visible signs of use and a small hole on one of the seat cushions; this can be placed facing down so it is not visible in use. Structurally stable and ready to place.
